The Scandalous League Fantasy Football League was formed, as we know it, in 1994. The Founding Fathers actually had a smaller league prior to 1994. These Founding Fathers include Eric Pellerin, Ken Nassiff, Jeff Nassiff, Chris Shea, and Mike Wakeley. The league decided to expand to a 12 team, 3 division format in 1994.

In the beginning years, we used to fill our teams using a draft. The first pick in our inaugaral season went to Scott Ditto, who picked Emmitt Smith.

The Top 5 picks:

#1 - Emmitt Smith (Scott Ditto)

#2 - Steve Young (Paul DiFilippo)

# 3 - Jerome Bettis (Rick Brereton)

# 4 - Thurman Thomas (Jay Beall)

# 5 - Jerry Rice (Ken Nassiff)

We used to pick two wild card winners. Jeff Nassiff and Ken Nassiff both earned wild card entries.

Playoffs:

Wild Card Game: No Manos (Jeff Nassiff) defeated the Desert Dwellers (Ken Nassiff).

Championship Game #1: Uncle Bud (Chris Shea) defeated the Wild Wombats (Eric Pellerin).

Championship Game # 2: No Manos (Jeff Nassiff) defeated Paul's Machine Shop (Paul DiFilippo).

Toilet Bowl Champ: The Mustangs (Jay Beall)

Chris Shea's team narrowly made the playoffs with only 7 victories. His team was the 10th highest scoring team in the league, and was printing the "Just Win Baby" t-shirts to hand out to his squad.

Fantasy Bowl: Uncle Bud (Chris Shea)defeated No Manos (Jeff Nassiff).

It was a very close game and Jeff Nassiff would have won if Dean Biascucci didn't choke. It was Scott Norwood all over again for the No Manos team. Chris Shea becomes the first Fantasy Bowl Champ of our storied Scandalous League.
